Solar Flares:Deaf Heritage Funding Success
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Solar Bears on its Solar Flares:Deaf Heritage project being awarded £90,900 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, which it will use to set up the Solar Flares:Deaf Heritage project to celebrate deaf heritage and culture in Scotland through extensive research, development and dissemination of eight digital works by deaf artists; understands that it will work collaboratively with Deaf History Scotland and the National Library of Scotland’s Moving Image Archive to create a sustainable network of organisations to animate existing deaf heritage, tell new stories and create a vibrant legacy for future generations, and wishes Solar Bears every success with this and its other endeavours.
