Compliments to the Chef
The motion
That the Parliament applauds Brydone Curran for winning the Rotary Club of Kirkcaldy (Young Chef District) final at Dundee and Angus College; understands that the Young Chef competition is organised by local Rotary clubs and hosted by schools or colleges between September and December; further understands that each winner of a local heat is entered into a district competition; notes that the participants plan and cook a healthy, economic three-course meal, develop their food presentation skills and gain experience in high-pressure situations; further notes that the competition encourages the development of good organisational skills, as well as culinary skills; supports Brydone as he progresses into the regional finals, and wishes him every success at the finals on 7 March 2020 at Wallace High School in Stirling.
