Kingdom Housing Association Awarded IiYP Gold Accreditation

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Fife-based, not-for-profit organisation, Kingdom Housing Association, on receiving the Investors in Young People (IiYP) Gold Accreditation; understands that Kingdom Housing Association is involved in a number of initiatives to provide "More than a Home" to individuals or families throughout east central Scotland; further understands that the staff have put in a great amount of effort in developing a trainee programme, trades apprenticeship scheme and construction academy, as well as participating in broader Developing Young Workforce projects and initiatives such as Career Ready; notes that the accreditation recognises organisations that focus on the recruitment and retention of young people aged five to 25, and thanks the organisation's staff, 50 of whom are classed as "young people and managers/influencers of young people", for their invaluable efforts in improving the Fife community.
