A Shining Star from Kirkcaldy
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the young star from Kirkcaldy, Shota-Leon Sato, on landing the role as one of the royal princes in a production of The King and I; understands that the 10-year-old outperformed thousands in an open audition during the Edinburgh festival; notes that Shota has been acting since he was five, and has since developed showstopping skills in singing and dancing, and wishes him every success with his professional acting debut at the King's Theatre in Glasgow.
