Gartnavel Royal Hospital IPCU Staff Recognised for Excellence In Care
The motion
That the Parliament recognises and congratulates Gartnavel Royal Hospital in Glasgow on receiving the first ever Quality Network for Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists in recognition of its care of acutely mentally ill patients and for demonstrating best practice and excellence in care; notes that this was presented to the hospital’s Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit (IPCU); understands the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland has also praised NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde for being the only NHS board to be accredited for rehabilitation services, and applauds the staff at the IPCU on their hard work, dedication and commitment to their roles.
