New General Secretary of the STUC
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Roz Foyer on her appointment to the post of General Secretary of the STUC; notes that Roz has spent her adult life campaigning and organising workers in key sectors as an official with UNITE the Union; understands that she is the first woman to hold the position of STUC General Secretary, and considers that her skills, knowledge, drive and determination will be a great asset to the trade union movement in Scotland.
