Crafty Distillery in Newton Stewart
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Crafty Distillery, which is located outside Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway, on winning the Scottish London Dry Gin category at the 2020 World Gin Awards, which were held in London; notes that, since Crafty Distillery entered the market just two and a half years ago, it has won a number of awards, including a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirit Awards for its Hills & Harbour Gin, making it one of the best craft gins in the world, as well as winning multiple awards for its high-quality, distilled Galloway Vodka; understands that the team at the distillery, which is led by the founder and owner, Graham Taylor, has hugely innovative plans for 2020, including a number of new products that are currently in development; wishes Graham and his team every success for the future, and encourages all to consider visiting Crafty Distillery in Dumfries and Galloway to try its fabulous world-renowned products.
