Rowing Challenge for Ayrshire College
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ayrshire College, which has signed up to row 202 miles to raise £3,000 for Sport Relief on behalf of mental health charities; understands that, until 13 March 2020, two rowing machines will be stationed at each College campus and that rowing efforts off-campus will also count towards the total; acknowledges that the College's Principal, Carol Turnbull, rowed the first two miles alongside the world champion and former student, Kayleigh Haggo; notes that all staff and students are being encouraged to take part in the effort, and wishes the College every success with this.
