Dunblane Youth and Sports Centre Trust
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Dunblane Youth and Sports Centre Trust on being awarded £34,728 from the National Lottery’s Young Start Fund; understands that the group will use the funding to establish an employability programme in the form of a community café situated within the group's sports centre; notes that the project will teach local high school pupils catering and hospitality skills, as well as a range of business skills, while they operate the café as their own business; understands that the project will benefit 96 young people and will be managed by a youth coordinator, with 15 volunteers providing additional support to the project over a three-year period, and wishes everyone involved all the very best.
