Inchgarth Community Centre
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Inchgarth Community Centre on receiving a three-year grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the £150,000 grant will be used to employ a new Development Worker to expand the team of people working to deliver activities to people in the community; recognises that the centre delivers over 150 sessions of activity per week as well as providing space for other community groups; notes that around 1,000 local people are set to use the centre, with 170 volunteers available to assist staff; understands that the new worker will develop children’s services and improve services for people with additional support needs, and wishes the Inchgarth Community Centre, its staff and all who use it all the best.
