Whitecrook Nursery Manager Retires After 43 Years of Service
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Patricia Goodfellow of Dalmuir on her 43 years of dedicated service to nursery and primary schools across Clydebank; notes that she began her teaching career at the early age of 16, and has since worked at Cochno Children’s Home, St Eunan’s Primary and Jamestown Early Education Centre, spending the last eight years at Whitecrook Nursery; recognises the passionate and nurturing service that Patricia has given to the many children she calls “the adults of tomorrow”; acknowledges that she is returning to college to become a children’s book author and will continue to enrich the lives of young people through her writing, and wishes Patricia every success in her future endeavours.
