Bishopbriggs' Choir Raises Over £370,000 for CHAS
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Bishopbriggs-based choir, Springfield Cambridge Festival Chorus and Orchestra, on raising £33,218 from its annual concert, which will be donated to CHAS; understands that the concert was performed by the 160-voice chorus, the Springfield Vocal Ensemble and full orchestra, as well as guest soloists; notes the cumulative amount raised by the choir over the years for CHAS amounts to over £370,000; congratulates and thanks the choir members for their incredible fundraising efforts, which it believes are a testament to their talent and their enthusiasm for the cause, and wishes them well.
