Citizens Advice Bureaux Supporting the People of Glasgow
The motion
That the Parliament notes the latest report from Citizens Advice Scotland on the eight Citizens Advice bureaux located across Glasgow city; understands the bureaux located in Bridgeton, Castlemilk, Glasgow Central, Drumchapel, Easterhouse, Glasgow North West, Greater Pollok and Parkhead have ensured £23.7 million has been delivered for their clients through access to social security entitlements, debt written off, overdue pay and entitlements from work, tax savings and rebates and consumer compensation; further understands that over 27,000 people were helped by bureaux across Glasgow, of which 70% were living in the 20% most deprived areas, and commends the work of the staff and volunteers across all the bureaux who have made an incredible contribution to the people of Glasgow.
