Charity Fight Night for Huntington’s
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Alec Mullen Jnr from Irvine on arranging a charity fight night to raise money to help tackle Huntington’s disease; understands that the event was arranged in aid of Alec’s brother-in-law, Darren Clark, who has been fundraising since he tragically lost him mum to the disease 18 months ago; notes that, due to the demand for tickets, the event had to be moved from the Volunteer Rooms, Irvine, to the Park Hotel, Kilmarnock, with an estimated 520 tickets sold; congratulates both Alec and Darren on their incredible fundraising efforts, and wishes them every success on the night.
