Shelley Kerr MBE
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Shelley Kerr from Polbeth on being appointed an MBE for services to women's football; considers that Shelley has had a monumental influence on the growth of women’s football in Scotland over the last 20 years; acknowledges her phenomenal success as a player, winning every domestic honour in Scotland before moving into management; appreciates the recent achievement of the Scotland women’s team qualifying for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, and wishes Shelley every success for the future.
