New Homelessness Unit for Young People in West Lothian
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the plans to build a new homeless unit for young people in West Lothian; understands that it will house 12 young people and offer short-stay accommodation for up to 16; notes that it will be situated close to community support services, education facilities, employment opportunities, amenities and transport links, and believes that this is a positive step towards dealing with youth homelessness in West Lothian.
