Polbeth Community Hub Helps to End Food Insecurities Across West Lothian
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Polbeth Community Hub, in Livingston, which has used money that it received from community funding to purchase a community fridge in a bid to tackle food poverty locally; understands that community food groups across West Lothian are filling the gap and providing an effective way to tackle food insecurity and enable local people to take part in community life; recognises the importance of local projects, such as the Polbeth Community Hub, to bring about social change and improve the quality of life of local citizens, and thanks the hub for its continued hard work.
