Jobs Saved at API Foil Makers in Livingston
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that over 100 jobs in the Almond Valley constituency have been saved as a result of the purchase of API Foils Ltd in Livingston by the major global packaging company, Aldus; congratulates everyone involved in the intensive period of work to secure a viable option for the business; appreciates the engagement and support of Scottish Enterprise, Partnership for Action for Continuing Employment and Unite the Union since API Foils went into administration; notes that the new business will be known as API Foil Makers, and wishes the business every success for the future.
