Lenzie Academy Pupil Awarded National Writing Prize
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Murray Seggie, a pupil at Lenzie Academy, on being named joint runner-up in the Scottish Schools’ Young Writer of the Year; notes that Murray’s essay addressed the potential opportunities and conflicts presented by the growing role of technology in medical treatment; understands that his essay was highly perceptive and analytical, was supported with statistical evidence and presented a nuanced oversight of the topic; looks forward to reading more of his writing in the future, and wishes him all the very best.
