Y2K Shortlisted for Two National Youth Work Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Mayfield and Easthouses Youth 2000 Project (Y2K) on being shortlisted for two National Youth Work Awards; acknowledges that the nomination is as a result of its prevention work with young people who are involved in or are at risk of becoming involved in offending, or antisocial and risky behaviours; recognises that the organisation’s 180 project is a referral-based service that focuses on early support and prevention for those young people at risk of become involved in offending; acknowledges that the National Youth Work Awards 2020 are all about celebrating the power of incredible youth work and the impact that it has on the lives of young people; commends Y2K's outstanding contributions to youth work, and wishes it all the best in its future endeavours.
