Green Token Funding for Kirkcaldy Groups
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Wee Blues Rugby, Fife Migrants Forum and Fife Steel Basketball Club on each receiving a monetary reward from Asda Kirkcaldy through the Green Token Giving programme; understands that the Asda Foundation invests in grassroots community projects and good causes in Scotland that have made a real difference to the wider community; notes that Wee Blues Rugby ultimately won the customer vote in the local store and was awarded £1,000, with Fife Migrants Forum and Fife Steel Basketball Club receiving £500 as runners-up; applauds these three organisations for their remarkable programmes, and wishes each project all the best going forward.
