New Respite Help for West Lothian Carers
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Carers of West Lothian on delivering its new service, Respitality; understands that this service offers carers much-needed free breaks and vital breathing space away from everyday pressures; acknowledges that Respitality is operated by the Scottish Government and is coordinated nationally by Shared Care Scotland, with local partners such as Carers of West Lothian delivering the project at a local level; welcomes the much-needed support from the local businesses, Linwater Caravan Park and Sing in the City, which have both signed up as part of the scheme, and wishes Carers of West Lothian every success with its new venture.
