11th Haal Folk Festival Returning to Portsoy
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that the Haal Folk Festival will be returning to Portsoy for its 11th year; notes that the event recognises traditional Scottish music, dance and poetry, and that, in 2020, all the performers, except for one, are over 80 years old; celebrates the contribution and hard work of everyone involved from the local area and further afield, and wishes them every success for the shows this summer.
