Northern Lights Lounge at Aberdeen Airport, Tourism Award Success

That the Parliament congratulates the Northern Lights Lounge at Aberdeen International Airport on winning the Working Together for Tourism category at the 27th Scottish Thistle Awards; notes that these awards champion the very best in the tourism industry and celebrate innovation, success and excellence across the sector; applauds the airport on its string of recent successes, which have included winning the Sword of Honour title at the British Safety Awards and the Iain Whyte Memorial Award for its popular Therapet canine crew; recognises the hard work of all at the airport in showcasing what that the north-east has to offer, and encourages everyone using the airport to make use of what it sees as its excellent facilities.
