Bankie Diamond Duo Waltz to 60 Years of Married Bliss
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates William and Elizabeth McKellar from Clydebank on their 60th wedding anniversary; understands that William and Elizabeth, who met in 1958, went on to represent Scotland in ballroom dancing competitions all over the UK, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, Blackpool Tower and Winter Garden ballrooms, winning several trophies along the way; acknowledges their contribution to local businesses and the community over many years, and wishes William and Elizabeth all the best for the future.
