Forth Valley Radio to Launch Across Clackmannanshire
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news of a new Tillicoultry-based digital community radio station, which is due to launch in Clackmannanshire; understands that Forth Valley Radio will go live on 23 March 2020; congratulates the founder and local DJ, Steve Mac, on this excellent community initiative; understands that the police will be contributing with a weekly community report; further understands that news, weather reports, live sport and music covering all genres will be featured; commends Forth Valley Radio for its plans to educate school pupils on how to become presenters; notes that any money made will be reinvested back into the station, and wishes Steve, and everyone involved, the very best of luck for the radio station’s ultimate success.
