Auchentoshan Distillery Responds to COVID-19
The motion
That the Parliament commends Auchentoshan Distillery in Clydebank for its efforts in helping to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic; notes that it has gone to great efforts to create hand sanitiser, which has been distributed to places in need across the Glasgow area; understands that deliveries have been made to care homes, hospices, food banks, schools, community hubs and more; acknowledges that a batch was received by the volunteer organising group, West Dunbartonshire CVS in Clydebank; applauds the distillery for going beyond the call of duty at a time of national crisis and acting in the interest of the public good and not that of profit; believes that these efforts will help prevent the spread of the virus and contribute toward saving lives, and thanks Auchentoshan Distillery for its role in dealing with COVID-19.
