Home-Start Stirling Helping Local Families
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Home-Start Stirling on its continued support for families in the local area; understands that Home-Start Stirling supports families that have at least one child under the age of five and are experiencing difficulties; notes that, although it is currently unable to work with groups or offer home visits, it continues to provide a range of services; further notes that its services include remote contact with families by phone, text or video call, doorstep support to ensure that families isolating have the essentials, and support for families where there are concerns regarding the welfare of the child or parent; welcomes that new referrals can still be made, and congratulates all the staff and volunteers on their creativity and hard work.
