Crossgates Primary School Wins a Plastic Free School Award
The motion
That the Parliament notes the recent success of Crossgates Primary School, which has been awarded the Plastic Free School Award for the first time; notes that this award is presented by Surfers Against Sewage and aims to encourages young people to become environmentally aware; notes the hard work involved in achieving this award, including the school eliminating single-use plastic cups, bottles and aprons; believes that this is an excellent achievement and is one that many other schools could learn from; appreciates the efforts of the pupils and staff, and congratulates them on this recognition of their efforts.
