Mintra Group's Skilled Worker Portal Offers Free Learning to Oil and Gas Workers

That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdeen-based Mintra Group on the launch of its Skilled Worker Portal; applauds the support that Mintra is offering to furloughed and redundant workers in the oil and gas industry during the COVID-19 pandemic; understands that the portal is an online learning management and training resource providing free access to 15 key industry courses, including health, safety, environmental and technical courses, to give learners the opportunity to plug gaps in periodic training requirements during their current down-time; notes that the course material is written to accredited standards and that, on completion, participants will be provided with a Mintra certificate, and welcomes this positive initiative at a time when there is so much uncertainty throughout the industry, the country and the world.
