West Lothian Gala Day Cancellations
The motion
That the Parliament commends the efforts of gala day committees, parents and children across the Almond Valley constituency who have lifted the spirits of disappointed children following the cancellation of the annual celebrations during lockdown; acknowledges that local communities are encouraging locals to carry out activities in their gardens, display art and erect bunting, and understands that celebrations are being planned later in 2020 to ensure that local children can still play a part in their special day.
