ACVO Announces Community Anchor Fund Partners
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the assistance provided by Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations (ACVO) to community groups, charities and social enterprises that are helping people and communities particularly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic; highlights this support has been made possible in partnership with the Scottish Government and The National Lottery Community Fund; congratulates all funding recipients including Middlefield Community Project, Northfield Congregational Church, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation and Sheddocksley Baptist Church, which are based in the Aberdeen Donside constituency; understands that ACVO will work alongside these organisations to address the challenges that people and communities in Aberdeen are facing, and applauds the efforts of all involved to enable an effective response to the issues created by the pandemic.
