Motherwell FC’s Dedication to Suicide Prevention
The motion
That the Parliament understands that, on average, almost one person every week dies by suicide in North Lanarkshire; commends Motherwell FC’s recent announcement that players will carry the Suicide Prevention North Lanarkshire message on their sleeves throughout the 2020-21 season; understands that Motherwell FC is a long-standing partner in the suicide prevention campaign to prevent the tragedy of suicide in communities across North Lanarkshire, and thanks Motherwell FC for providing a sense of community when it is most needed, and for raising awareness of such important issues.
