Scottish Bee Company Receives Two Top Industry Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Livingston-based Scottish Bee Company on winning awards in recognition of their production of heather honey at the London International Honey Awards; understands the company received the highest award, platinum, which is reserved for honey scoring between 95.5 and 100 out of a maximum, and a silver award for its bold new packaging; acknowledges that these awards came just weeks after it was named as the first product in the UK to receive the British Standards Institution's internationally-recognised Kitemark accreditation for food assurance as well as being named as a world-leading superfood in a scientific study; acknowledges the efforts made by its owners, Iain and Suzie Miller, in producing the best pure Scottish honey as possible and being recognised by industry experts; and wishes them every continued success.
