Craigsfarm Community Hub
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Craigsfarm Community Hub on its award of £60,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland; acknowledges that it is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation that promotes the social, physical and economic wellbeing of the community of Craigshill in Livingston; understands that this additional funding will support its operations and help compensate for a loss in income during the COVID-19 pandemic to assist it in continuing as a viable business as well as a community charity and social enterprise, which employs nine people from the area, the majority of whom have experienced mental health issues, are disabled or are in receipt of benefits, and wishes everyone associated with the Community Hub every continued success.
