Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation Pulling Out All the Stops on Very Special Request
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the "Very Special Request" fulfilled by the Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation for a young girl with a brain tumour, whose dream was to drive a train; notes that Sophia was invited to Glasgow Central Station where, as well as fulfilling her dream of driving a train, she had the chance to make an announcement over the station’s tannoy, explore the station and have her name lit up on the station’s board; commends the ongoing work of the Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation, which often pulls out all the stops to make great memories for children and their families, and thanks ScotRail and Network Rail for facilitating Sophia’s exciting visit to Glasgow Central Station.
