Forth Valley Royal Hospital Team to Run 10k for The Gate Charity
The motion
That the Parliament commends a team of nurses and doctors from the mental health acute assessment team at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, who plan to run 10 kilometres on 4 October 2020 in order to raise funds for The Gate Charity in Alloa through a justgiving webpage; understands that the participants have said that, although they are not athletes, with some able to run better than others, they are determined that, as a team, they will get to the finish line; acknowledges that The Gate and its staff strive to serve and support people who are vulnerable, isolated or living in crisis situations across Clackmannanshire, and wishes everyone involved the very best of luck in their fundraising endeavours and the subsequent 10k run.
