Extend Eat Out to Help Out Scheme in Aberdeen
The motion
That the Parliament notes the petition, Reschedule Eat Out to Help Out in Aberdeen, on change.org, established by a local restaurateur and supported by over a thousand local residents, calling on the UK Government to extend the discount scheme in light of the reintroduction of lockdown restrictions, which have seen restaurants and pubs closed in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19; supports the aims of the petition to extend the discount scheme in Aberdeen for the time lost due to the localised outbreak; believes that local hospitality venues need every measure of support available to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and hopes that the UK Government will support these calls.
