McGrath Family Charity Walk
The motion
That the Parliament commends the McGrath family, who are from Peebles, on walking 500 miles to raise money for the medical research charity, DEBRA; understands that Sandra and Mike McGrath completed their leg of the walk by hiking through the woods and hills around Peebles, while their son and his family completed their walks in Edinburgh and Gairloch; notes that the family hopes that when the total donations are counted they will have raised over £2,000 for DEBRA, which funds research into epidermolysis bullosa, a skin condition that causes internal and external blistering; commends the McGraths for their hard work in raising this money, and wishes them all the best.
