Pentlands Men's Shed, Maintaining Its Community Role
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Pentlands Men’s Shed on its efforts to continue to support the good mental health of more than 30 men during the COVID-19 restrictions, in addition to assisting community groups and organisations; notes that this ongoing support has been provided in both physical and virtual settings; understands that this has included virtual projects, a weekly email, Lockdown Notes, and a newly-constituted website, which will become the central hub for Shed activities for the foreseeable future, and congratulates the group on its work and resolve during this challenging time.
