Gourock Harbour Infrastructure and Vessels Project
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the progress being made by Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) to deliver the Gourock Harbour Infrastructure and Vessels Project, which also includes work on the harbour infrastructure at Dunoon and the delivery of new vessels; notes that the project is a partnership between Transport Scotland, CMAL, CalMac and Argyll and Bute Council; further notes that it will be a multi-million pound development into Gourock that will strengthen the economic future of the harbour and all the activities that take place there; welcomes the progress being made on the next stage to develop a ferry fleet fit for the Gourock-Dunoon and Gourock-Kilcreggan routes, and wishes everyone connected with this ambitious progress every success.
