Community Transport Glasgow Pandemic Support
The motion
That the Parliament notes the incredible efforts of Community Transport Glasgow during the COVID-19 lockdown period; understands that it has co-ordinated 595 catch-up calls with individual and group members, provided transport for key workers, delivered 2,168 care, food and activity packages to 1,860 homes, collected 97 wholesale bulk food orders, delivered 279 bulk food drop-offs to 21 community organisations across Glasgow, provided 305 pharmacy deliveries and worked in partnership with 12 key stakeholders; acknowledges the commitment shown by everyone involved, and thanks them for their tremendous efforts to keep vulnerable people and key workers supported throughout the pandemic.
