Helensburgh Community Hall Group Secures Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the Helensburgh Community Hall Group has secured £159,936 from the Scottish Land Fund; further notes that the group was established in 2019 to coordinate efforts to secure the Red Cross hall building, avoiding its closure; understands that the group, which has been officially recognised as a charity, has now secured 95% of its funding goal to buy the hall; welcomes the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to raise the remaining money needed, and congratulates the Group on securing the funding to secure the hall's future.
