Clean Air Day
The motion
That the Parliament recognises 8 October as Clean Air Day 2020; acknowledges the work of Global Action Plan in seeking to improve the public understanding of air pollution, build awareness of how air pollution affects health and explain the easy actions that everyone can take to tackle air pollution, helping to protect the environment and people's health; endorses the work of Global Action Plan in its endeavour to decrease levels of air pollution across the UK, and appreciates the need for Scotland to continue in its efforts to meet this challenge from both an environmental and public health perspective.
