Breast Cancer Awareness Month and COVID-19
The motion
That the Parliament recognises October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month; applauds the work of charities such as Breast Cancer Now, in raising awareness of the condition; acknowledges that the challenges faced in continuing with the progress made in defeating the disease have been exacerbated by the measures taken as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic; recognises that elements of this progress include innovating research, community support services and essential fundraising, and accepts the need for these services to be supported.
