A Further Public Access Defibrillator for Alloa
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that a further public access defibrillator will soon be installed in Alloa; notes that this is thanks to the fundraising efforts by the Alloa Older People's Welfare Committee to bring the lifesaving device to Greenfield Hall, which have been progressing well, despite the COVID-19 pandemic; acknowledges that May McMurray and her granddaughter, Michele, recently gave £415 to the committee's chair, Anna Forbes, to support the campaign to bring the second device to the town; commends mid-octogenarian May, who had been shielding, for raising the money by walking, with the support of her mobility aid, from Greenfield to Dollar in August 2020, and congratulates the Alloa Older People's Welfare Committee on this excellent initiative.
