New Head of Tearfund Scotland Appointed
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Graeme McMeekin on being appointed as Head of Tearfund Scotland; commends Tearfund for the admirable work that it has been doing to help 1.5 million people across the globe, who are in poverty, respond to COVID-19; recognises that Tearfund has installed 1,632 hand-washing stations and distributed 82,980 hygiene kits to some of the world’s poorest communities during this pandemic, and sends its best wishes to Graeme in his new role, and to his team as they continue to help people around the world use their gifts and skills to create change and escape poverty.
