Congratulations to Lorraine Mullen and Lo'gelly Lunches
The motion
That the Parliament notes the award of a British Empire Medal to Lorraine Mullen in the Queen's Birthday Honours; understands that this is for her contribution to setting up the Lo'gelly Lunches project; notes that, in partnership with local supermarkets, the projects has been feeding around 200 people per week, with 4,500 helped so far; understands that Lo'gelly Lunches was initially aimed at tackling social exclusion and isolation but had to adapt due to the COVID-19 pandemic; praises the work of Lorraine and all the volunteers who have worked so hard, and wishes them continued success in the future.
