Matugga Rum, Scottish Edge Winners
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Livingston-based company, Matugga Rum Distillers, on being recognised as one of 33 Scottish businesses from 327 applications with high growth potential and being successful in a share of £1 million funding after being named winners at the Scottish Edge Awards 2020; understands that Scottish Edge is the UK's biggest funding competition for potential high-growth businesses that support Scotland's most innovative high-growth potential early-stage businesses with up to £150,000; recognises the efforts and achievements of Matugga Rum, which has won a number of awards and is now a successful and thriving business in West Lothian, and wishes the team every success for the future.
