Smith-Magenis Syndrome Foundation Receives National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Smith-Magenis Syndrome Foundation UK on its recent award of £7,912 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funding will assist the organisation to provide online "open-space" chats for parents and carers of people with Smith-Magenis syndrome; acknowledges that this disability is in the high-risk category so that both people with the condition and their families or carers are isolated at home, and welcomes this much-needed funding.
